One of the hardest parts about webdesign is the maintenance of the job.
For some people, sitting behind a computer all day long can be an easy task. For others, however, it is extremely difficult. Distractions like friends, and a hectic work schedule can prevent someone from being motivated enough to dedicate away more of their day to designing websites.
Personally, I see myself as a fairly motivated individual but these problems have come my way quite often and they are not easy to get over.
Procrastination. Unfortunately, it is the word that haunts my life, but for someone who always gets things done despite time constraints, I've never known it to be any other way.
I have always told myself that I work best under pressure and through procrastination. I am not sure whether or not I am correct, but some people have asked me the following question a few times in the past:
"You say you work best under pressure, but are you doing the best job you can do?"
I usually do not have a response for this question, but if there is one thing I know I need to correct in the near future, it will be the habit of procrastination.
Continue checking back this blog for more updates on my procrastination habits, and possible solutions for getting your website updated frequently and often, and implementing better time management solutions into your workload.
