I am currently taking a class for creating an e-business online. During that class we have learned that advertising is a great way to get money for your starter business. However, I have a few rules I give myself in regards to this.
Inside, I am really not a fan of advertising on a website. If there will ever be advertising on my websites it will usually be once in a page, and never more. I hate looking at advertisements, especially if they are hard to look at!
If you will use advertisements on your website, make sure that they are visually appealing, and do not overdue them! They will steer away audiences from your website. Also, make sure they relate to your content, not doing so will make a void in your page to draw attention to what is not important in your audience to understand.
