Over at Xemion.com, a webdesigner blog, they have a new post about the idea of webdesign being an actual career to people who are not familiar with what a webdesigner actually does. Obviously, webdesigning entails more to surfing the web, but does everyone else understand this?
This blog really hits the spot for me too. When I tell other people that I design websites, it doesn't mean I create websites through GeoCities, where almost anyone could create a simple webpage.
My knowledge extends to so much more than is perceived by others, and it angers a lot of us to think they really believe that.
